About: ENCRE is a Brussels-based non-profit association that brings together actors from the comics sector to cooperate on new initiatives and make their voices heard at European level.

In PERiSCOPE: ENCRE brings creative communication and visual literacy into PERiSCOPE through youth-facing activities that make disinformation tangible and easier to understand. It organises interactive workshops led by comics artists and media literacy experts, where young participants learn comic design basics, narrative development and techniques for visually representing fact-checking challenges. Through this approach, ENCRE helps young people build visual literacy, critical thinking and civic participation skills using storytelling formats that can travel across languages and audiences.
