In PERiSCOPE: JSI strengthens PERiSCOPE’s AI and data-literacy dimension by helping participants understand how AI tools can be used for content verification and how manipulated content is produced and spread. It prepares a practical training module on using AI-based tools for identifying manipulated content and organises hands-on workshops and a webinar with developers and media literacy trainers to build trust, transparency and ethical awareness around these tools. Later, JSI supports youth teams in piloting AI fact-checking tools in practice, enabling participants to apply them to verify real-time or historical content aligned with the project’s disinformation themes.
