EU DISINFOLAB

About: EU DisinfoLab is an independent non-profit focused on understanding and tackling disinformation, supporting a community of practitioners and producing resources, events and knowledge to strengthen the information space.

In PERiSCOPE: EU DisinfoLab supports professional capacity-building and policy uptake on disinformation and ethics. It designs a short, self-paced course for journalists, educators, civic actors and AI practitioners focused on real-world ethical dilemmas in responding to disinformation, including themes such as bias in AI tools and responsible engagement with contentious narratives. EU DisinfoLab also convenes a high-level policy seminar and briefing session to translate project findings and citizen engagement insights into EU-level recommendations that contribute to a stronger, more integrated strategic response to disinformation threats.
